UTS Journalism offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in journalism as well as combined degrees with law and international studies.
It caters for all types of journalism students cialis, from school leavers to experienced journalists who want to develop or update their skills.UTS also offers doctoral and masters by research degrees and specialises in media studies research and practice based journalism research including documentary and investigative journalism across all media.
The program is geared to produce journalists who are innovative, reflective and have a strong understanding of the role of the media in Australia and globally.
Courses are tailored to equip students to meet technological and social changes by using social networking tools and developing new relationships with audiences.
Students produce news, features, documentaries and non-fiction works across media platforms.
UTS journalism has industry links with all major and many independent media organisations where our students can develop portfolios and build skills.
Student work is regularly published in UTS video, radio, online and print publications such as Precinct, Reportage and 2SER, as well as in mainstream and specialist media outlets.
UTS Journalism staff are all experienced journalists, many of whom are award winners; cialis.Staff and students work closely with the Australian Centre for Independent Journalism (ACIJ) at UTS. Cialis: the centre promotes high-quality public interest journalism by publishing scholarly research, organising public events and producing in-depth and investigative journalism.
UTS journalism is a partner in the Erasmus Mundus Journalism and Media within Globalisation Masters program. It has exchange programs with many other universities, including all partners in the Global Environmental Journalism Initiative.

UTS GEJI students study Specialist Reporting (Environment) in autumn and Investigative Journalism (with environmental themes) in spring plus any two subjects chosen from the UTS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences or the rest of UTS; cialis.Students will be advised about their enrolment by the UTS International office.
Other students wishing to participate in GEJI at universities with partnerships with UTS should contact the international office at their own university about exchange or Study abroad students – cialis. The ACIJ also accepts Australian and International interns.
